OET (Occupational English Test)

The OET (Occupational English Test) is an English language proficiency test tailored specifically for healthcare professionals (e.g., medicine, nursing) across 12 specializations, using real-world clinical scenarios. Format: Evaluates four skills: Listening (~45 min), Reading (60 min), Writing (45 min), and Speaking (~20 min). Scoring: Sub-tests are scored individually from 0–500 and mapped to letter grades from A (highest) to E (lowest). There is no overall grade. Delivery: Available via Paper (venue), Computer (venue), or OET@Home® (remote), all sharing identical content, difficulty, and marking standards.
